A Movie Set That Became a Real Town
Originally built in 1946 as a permanent backdrop for Western films, Pioneertown's Mane Street facades have since been transformed into a thriving strip of artisan shops, galleries, and local businesses. Walk the dusty main drag and you might catch a mock gunfight, spot a tumbleweed rolling through, or stumble across baby goats wandering between storefronts.

If you're catching a late show at Pappy's, you don't have to drive far. A campsite is available for just $10/night, located only 100 feet behind the shops. Roll out of the concert and straight into your sleeping bag.
