The Splitter - Titanium Multi-Utensil (or tongs) are a compact, minimalist, and lightweight multi utensil for outdoor activities such as camping, barbecuing, and backpacking. Full Windsor brilliantly made two separate titanium utensils, a spatula and a long spork, that become tongs when joined together. The joining mechanism is a small stainless-steel pin that is fixed to the handle-end of the spatula. When this pin is inserted into the keyhole slot found at the end of the spork handle, the two become the gripping mechanism of the tongs. Once formed, the tongs need only the natural flexibility of the titanium to operate with perfect grip force.

Both the spatula and spork make perfectly useful outdoor cooking utensils on their own as well. The spatula features a chamfered edge for easy scooping, as well as a serrated corner for cutting into and checking on food while it is still cooking. The long spork is perfect for getting into deep food packets and can be used as both an eating and serving utensil. Packaging is made of 100% recycled cards.

Mission:

The Splitter has been designed to address the problem of billions of cheap plastic utensils we over use every year. Many of them end up in our oceans and waterways and adversely effecting delecate populations of sea turtles, sea birds, fish and other ocean creatures. The same way as carrying drinking bottles has become ubiquitous to people’s everyday lives, we hope to see non-disposable utensils used in the same way. Help us have a positive effect against this waste and pollution crisis that is growing exponentially every year.
