This is the Genuine Toyota Oil Filter for your 3rd Gen Tacoma which needs to be replaced with every oil change (around 5000 miles). This OEM - Original Equipment Manufacturer oil filter comes with small and large O-Rings as well as the drainage spout to aid during oil change. We also include the required Drain Plug Gasket that most people don’t realize you absolutely must replace at every oil change on the oil pan. This gasket is a flat led washer that seals the oil pan plug and with its collapsable outer material is meant to be single use only. Once compressed it should not be used again.
